Me?

The one that almost had a nervous break down last week and said to her youngest son..

"Our entire family is going to hell."

Yes, I did.

Praise God within seconds the peace of God which transcends all understanding guarded my heart and mind through Christ Jesus.

Here is a message I received asking me:

Hi Angela please dont stop blogging , I have some ideas for topic s if you want.As you are a christian mom how to handle your own children when they start to question their faith or when they have friends that tease them about beleiving or their mom is a "church goer", what sort of things do you do for protection over your children, teachable moments when you show them God's doing . Did you bless your house when you moved in? Have you ever felt evil spirits in your home and what do you do? ( I play Christian music nice and loud !) Hope these help .?

Thank you precious sister..yes it did help.

Thank you for taking the time to encourage me. ((hugs))

1. When our children question their faith?

I deal with it on a daily basis these days. Hence our conversations about zombies, aliens, the politics of religion, the Catholic Church at the dinner table.

I keep giving my children to the Lord. I have too or else not only would I have had the slip up of the mouth like the other day, I would BELIEVE it...."I will contend with whoever contends with you, and your children I will save. Isaiah. That scripture comforts me greatly.

2. Friends teasing them because of their faith?

Let them know that we ALL experience it. Even grown ups. Let them know that God will help them through these times, never leaving them nor forsaking them. Also remind them not to take an offense towards those that tease them, and let God do the fighting for them...He does a better job! lol..I know this from experience girl! blush blush.

3. Mom being a church goer?

I seriously don't think their friends are judgmental about that, for the most part....If they come over, they will look to us...'size us up'. Let your light shine during those times and love them.?

4. What do I do to protect my children.?

PRAY PRAY PRAY PRAY PRAY!!

and again!

Let go and let God.

Do not obsess about the worse case scenarios that could happen to them.

Believe the best. Love. Love. Love.

Try to keep my words gentle (my children will attest, that is God's doing ALONE).

5. Teachable moments to show them God?

The other day my son was telling me about how the stove had been left on while they were sleeping, where they were at all throughout the night. Miracle ok folks!I asked him if it was Friday. He said yes. I told him, 'well that was God protecting you all since I was up for most of that night and kept praying for you.' He thanked me. God is the One that opens the doors (their hearts) to receive..and gives me the wisdom to share when their hearts are receptive. It`s pointless to share when it will fall on `foolish`ears.

6. Did you bless your house when you moved in?

Yes. Actually we had a priest (the one that baptized Randy my husband) come to our home. We had holy water and incense. Randy carried the incense? around the house, I carried the holy water and we both went from room to room and even into the garage.Father Stephens told us to praise God for the protection that He has placed within and around our home. It was a pretty cool day actually. We had never done anything like that before.

7. Have you ever felt evil spirit's in your house?

One of our conversations that we have at the dinner table concerns the spirits that each of us have dealt with. The children have also not only felt but seen, and for myself smell also.If you asked me this a few years back I would have answered differently.I let the children know that we are experiencing the Holy Spirit moving in our homes. I`m not giving satan any credit for anything. Two of my children always speak of the water that they saw dripping from the ceiling. `the Holy Spirit is raining down blessings on us` is what I tell them now. This is My doing. 1 Kings 2:24. I keep reminding myself with this scripture..'Who's in control?' Sure isn't satan folks. God IS...and so yes, we will experience negativity..but hellllllllllloooooooooooooooooooooooooo....we are in war! There is a battle going on. God has commanded His angels concerning my family (and yours) to guard you in all of your ways. So just picture your guardian angels, in each room where you are, picture many other angels at the front of your house, the back, and even on the roof.?

I have experienced being pushed from the back. I ended up dropping all my VERY hot soup, and spilling it all over the two loads of freshly washed and folded close, all over my walls, and my carpet.

At first I was ready to start just flipping out and than my spirit man started to well up within me and I started to praise God and thank Him that I was not seriously burned and that I guess He wanted me to do some cleaning. lol..seriously I did say that..peace just washed over my spirit. I cleaned, and praised God and thanked Him for this time of worship. What satan intended to harm me with, God used it for my good and the saving of many lives(as I share this with all of you now...we battle against evil...standing our ground on the Rock!)?

I also experienced being pushed to go down the stairs! And glory to God, I felt a push on my back, holding me up. Felt both at the same time! One trying to push me down, the other `having my back`. You know which one persevered and conquered! Glory to God!

I think of Job many times when the the attacks are greater in our home....I do pray a lot. I do have much Christian music. I don't play it often these days. I sing praises a lot throughout the day (quietly to the Lord) or I listen to EWTN (Catholic radio station..awesome!) and , while in the background everyone else's music on..and oh my goodness some of that music.....oh well.....let go and let God.

I also plead the blood of Jesus Christ over my entire family (and actually over many of you as the Lord brings you to my thoughts ..even in the middle of the night wakes me up with one of you in my thoughts).

I plead the blood of Jesus Christ over all of us and against all the powers of the enemy. I draw the blood line. In the Name of Jesus Christ,?I apply the keeping power of the blood of Jesus upon us and our surroundings. amen amen amen

blessings everyone?
