Description
The incumbent will be responsible for budgeting and monitoring university-wide functions; conducting analysis to provide understandable information to the management for effective decision making. Other responsibilities would include:
Consolidation of University-Wide budgets, monitoring and analysis, and identifying modifications in the current budgeting processes to respond more closely to the evolving nature of the University;
Develop Long Term Projections of the University to form the basis for future strategic priorities and developing the Sustainability Strategies;
Preparation of the budget, with analysis for University wide programmes and cost centers as well as at consolidated level while highlighting areas of cost control and improvement;
Developing Budget Manual and regular updates as and when required;
Preparation and consolidation of various other management reports of the University, in coordination with different units of Finance.
Requirements
Master?s Degree in Business Administration (Finance) or ACCA/ CMA/ CA (CA finalist may also be considered), or Equivalent;
Two to three years? experience in planning and finance;
Exemplary communication and inter personal skills;
Analytical and writing skills;
Computer skills with proficiency in MS Office;
Ability to work as a team and ability to work under pressure;
Proficiency in computers specially MS. Office.
