SUNY Ulster Baseball Camp: For ages 7-16 at Ulster?s Stone Ridge Campus. Designed for the serious player as well as the beginner. Fundamentals covered, along with intense work on learning and improving skills, effective drills and proper work habits. Players will be placed in appropriate group based on age and ability. During specialty groups, players will get the opportunity to learn about other positions. Goal is to make you leave with a greater knowledge and love of the game. Educational leader is Saugerties graduate and new Ulster coach Steve Freer. 12-to-1 camper-to-coach ratio. Players are asked to bring glove, bat, baseball hat, long athletic pants, athletic footwear (rubber spikes, sneakers), a reusuable/refillable water bottle, topical insect repellent and sun block (spray form not permitted). Free Adult Tennis Clinics: Given by tennis professional Pete Zeeh 10 a.m. Saturdays at Forsyth Park in Kingston. Hosted by the Kingston Recreation Department. Each clinic includes a demonstation, each participant?s play is evaluated, plus a question-and-answer period. Final clinic (July 27) is focused on lobs.
