While having the biggest subscriber base in the U.S.,
Verizon Wireless has also maintained the best network quality of all national carriers according to J.D. Power and Associates 2012 Wireless Network Quality Performance Study (Volume 2). The big red carrier scored highest in five regions, including the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, Southeast, West, and Southwest. The study surveyed 27,000 various wireless customers between January and June of this year to get the results. The survey measures many different factors including voice, text, data usage, as well as network quality on Verizon's relatively new 4G LTE network.
