Legal Aid will be celebrating Pro Bono Week the week of October 22.? As part of this celebration, they have scheduled a wills clinic for Wednesday, October 24, at 3:00 PM at the Mabel Wiggins Center.? They are in need of 5-6 students to assist with this clinic.? No training will be required for this clinic.? Students will assist the assigned attorneys with making changes to the documents that the clients request during the clinic and act as Witnesses and Notaries, if any of the students are Notaries.? Students?may also prepare simple documents, such as Powers or Attorney and Living Wills.

Our office is working with Legal Aid to schedule a wills clinic training for our students in the very near future. Please keep eye out on the Daily Docket for further details of the training.
